THE PETER GAMMONS COLLEGE SCHOLARS PROGRAM

Investing in the next generation of emerging leaders.

Believing in the power of a college education to change the trajectory of a family’s life, in 2010 we launched our own direct program, the Peter Gammons College Scholars Program. Thus far we have invested in 225 students at four-year colleges around the country, each with a mentor and a plan for success, and have achieved a 95% college retention rate. Our nonprofit partners nominate young people from their programs who have overcome tremendous challenges, have demonstrated a commitment to community service, and have high financial needs. Our scholars attend our leadership training and team building events with their mentors and commit to giving back to us by volunteering at our HSCM events and by mentoring the next generation of Gammons Scholars.

Our mentors, selected from our family of partners, forge life-changing bonds with their scholars and assist them with everything from internships and jobs to personal support and advice. Our scholars receive more than just a financial scholarship–they receive a personalized investment in their future.
